Feedback:
- this CD cover looks very effective in the way that it uses a similar colour scheme yet all the seperate colours stand out
- the location fits in with the genre of the song
- the layout of the overall cover is asthetically pleasing
- maybe the brightness of the "red" could be changed as it looks too bright compared to the rest of the cover.

I am struggling to create mock up CD covers for my artist. The ones i have already created, mainly with large pictures, seem to be unprofessional. So, i have come up with some more minimalistic ideas, which i feel are effective and get the song name across to the audience really well. These will be posted over the next few days.

At the moment, i am unsure of whether or not to do the original(Daniel merriweather) version and use a male actor, or to do the Radio 1 live lounge cover by Shontelle and have a female actress. The reason i am unsure of this is because my male choice of actor is away at uni and only available at weekends, but my female actress isnt as confident in front of a camera and therefore the quality of the music video may be at risk.

I have chosen my location for filming most of the video. The main parts of the video will be filmed on Oakfield Grove, this is because it has the appropriate props already in place for what i need(house, window, streetlight opposite). This is why i think the location is ideal. I will also be filming parts of the video on St.Davids way, as it is the opposite direction to Oakfield Grove, so it will show the actor walking away from the situation(as described in the song). I also plan to have happy, cheerful scenes to show the fun they have together, this will be filmed either at the grange, a picnic or just having general fun, then maybe knypersley pool. Im think i will film this part in both locations and see which fits best.
